Description
CAT'S HEAD RESET AT THE LA CASA NUEVA COURTYARD BALCONY
Color: Brown
A color polaroid photograph of the restored cat's head reset at the La Casa Nueva courtyard balcony, ca. March 1979. The close-up shows the reset piece, which appears to have had cracks in the wood filled in with putty, while the rebuilt ears look more clean. There is residue from some material, perhaps the putty, which looks tan colored, and an adhesive, gray colored, that would be covered up by a complete repainting. The plaster wall around the beam was still damaged and not replastered when this work was done. An inscription in green ink at the bottom of the artifact reads "Cat Repaired & Back In Place." With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.
