Description

CATTLE BRAND GATE LATCH ON WOOD GATES, CA. 1979 Color: Blue; White; Brown A photograph of the Workman brand latch on the Mission Walkway gates, ca. 1979. The black iron brand is to the right and is between two rails of the blue wood gate. One of the gate's decorative finials is in front of the brand while another appears to the far right. The torso of wood-carver Harvey Morris is on the far left wearing a brown leather work belt, white shirt, and black pants. He holds the brand with his left hand while applying a screwdriver to it with his right. Taken during site restoration, the image has little signs of wear and is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
