Description
Cement pouring for the Los Angeles Aqueduct channel, ca. 1909. The view shows a section of the channe in a desert area with mountains in the background. There are workers smoothing the cement out within wooden forms on the channel bed. Large timbers are at the left foreground and there is a machine and other workers in the distance. The photo was taken by a University of Southern California student who worked on the project in 1908 and 1909. With slight curvature, a dogeared lower left corner and light soiling, the condition is good.
