A ceramic decanter jug with a painted wood-grained surface, a curved neck, handle from the rim to the shoulder, and ceramic-top cork stopper. On one side of the jug is a raised figure of a cariacatured man with feather-topped green hat, black jacket, green short trousers, white hose and green shoes. One hand is in a pocket and under this arm is a rifle. In the other hand, which is raised is a bottle. On the bottom is stamped in black ink: "Made in / Germany" and stamped into the plaster is what appears to be a letter "M" and the number "8303", as well as an undetermined logo or symbol under the inked stamp. There doesn't appear to be any significant wear or damage to the object, which is in good condition.Lexicon
