Description

Color: Brown; Blue; Red; White "Inside Floor Paint," issued by Certain-teed Products Corporation, ca. 1922. The pamphlet has a white paper cover with a drawing at the center of the inside of a bedroom. The room has a wood floor, a window at the left, and a bed at the right. At the top is the name of the company in red. At the right of the center in blue is the title. At the center of the bottom the name of the company is repeated in white letters. On the back is an advertisement for varnish stain. On the left page of the inside is information about the product which includes the best rooms to use the paint, its economical advantages, and its easy application. Included on the right page are eight color samples. The colors shown are silver gray, lead color, light olive, French yellow, drab, dark oak, red, and brown. The artifact is part of a group of four brochures that are items .1-.4. With light creases and some surface soiling on the back, the object is in good condition.
