CERVANTES/MILTON PANELS, LA CASA NUEVA LIBRARY AUTHORS DOOR Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of the Cervantes and Milton panels of the La Casa Nueva library authors door, ca. 1978. Consisting of eight panels scotch taped together, the Cervantes panel is at the top and the Milton panel on the bottom, both in oval frames with a vine and leaf pattern and scrolls underneath with their last names in capital letters. The center panel is clear glass with angles leading creating a diamond pattern. At the lower right a square piece of mylar covers that corner. In black ink at the center ofthe front is "A set." At the reverse upper right corner, in pencil, is "Set A." Underneath this, in blue ink, is: "Temple Mansion / Library Doors to Patio / East Leaf / Author Windows / Full Scale." Beneath this, in pencil, is: "Cervantes & Milton." At the lower left corner, in pencil, is: "A Set / Milton & Cervantes." On each of the eight panels in the lower right corner is, in blue ink, the number "2." In fair condition, there is pressure-sensitive tape; tears at several places, especially along the edges; creases; abrasions; and dented corners. Number-Units: 1
