A Champion Pure Silk Darning Outfit set consisting of a-b) cardboard box top and bottom and c-n)twelve (12) 10-yard spools of silk thread in assorted colors. Manufactured by the Gudebrod Brothers Silk Company, Inc. of Boston. Product information and the company logo are on the box cover with the sides denoting the number of spools in assorted colors. Two sides have thumb cuts. Good condition, there are small holes, probably from needles on the top of the box and minor evidence of wear. The thread spools are of various colors (tan, white, gray, gold, brown, pink) and are all in good condition with little evidence of use noted. "10 yds" inscribed on the end of the spools.
