"Chapter of Report XXV of the State Mineralogist Covering Mining in California and the Activities of the Division of Mines and Mining," Vol. 25, Number 4, edited by State Mineralogist Walter W. Bradley and printed by the California State Printing Office, October 1929. The item has the division and Bradley's names at the top, the date, volume, and number below, the work's title at the center, and the division logo and state printing office's name and year of printing at the bottom. Contents include material on reports from four districts, including Los Angeles concerning Riverside County, oil field development operations, administrative items, minerals and statistics, the library, producers and consumers, the employment service, publications and an index. At pages 468-69 are a chart of mineral production in Riverside County by mineral since 1891 and a map of producing areas in the county. There are many photographs, tables and charts as illustrations. With corner and edge creases, page browning, losses to the bottom left corner of the back, an inscribed name in ink at the top right of the front, scratches at the bottom right of the back, stains on the back from handling, staple tarnish, and some small edge tears, the overall condition is good.Lexicon
