The hardcover item has a brown cover with the name of the company, the current year and year of founding, address and company logo embossed on the front cover. The spine and back cover are blank. Running 292 pages, the catalog is arranged into eleven sections covering the following grocery items: teas and coffees; food products; delicatessen items; household articles and utensils; biscuits; baked goods; candies; perfumes, toiletries and sundries; tobacco products; non-alcoholic beverages; and mineral waters. At the front are a few photographs of the company's buildings, the interior of the telephone order department and the retail store and a drawing of a steamliner, accompanying a statement about foreign orders. There is also a color drawing of one of the company's "Bon Voyage" gift baskets. Information about shipping charges and general information is also in the front. At the back is an index. There is a stain at the lower center of the front cover and some abrasions to the spine, but the catalog is generally in good condition.
