Description
A real photo postcard, "Chesterfield Square M.E. Church," postmarked 27 November 1922. The view is taken from across a street at the Colonial Revival structure, which is white with wood siding and has a covered entry at the left corner and French doors leading to a room at the right corner. An empty lot is to the right. The caption is in white cursive lettering at the bottom. A message on the reverse is from a congregant. The Chesterfield Square neighborhood is between Van Ness/Arlington on the west, Normandie on the east, King on the north and Slauson on the south. With small stains on the margin, creases, soiling and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
