Description

Sheet music, "Chi-Nee," with words by Spot Cravello and music by Irene Delaney, published as a "Christmas Special," 1921. The cover has holiday imagery, including Santa Claus, a Christmas tree and people, while the song is about a Chinese girlfriend of the narrator and employs stereotypes of the day. Christmas wishes from California Bank are in a box at the lower right and local business advertisements for the Westlake Park area of Los Angeles are on the back wrapper and inside of the front wrapper. With some creases, a loss at the upper left, stains, soiling, edge rubbing and other wear, the overall condition is good.
