CHRISTMAS CARD FROM WALTER TEMPLE, MRS. JOE ROMERO, AND MAUD AND TONY BASSITY, 1930s
Color: Blue
A Christmas card (a) and envelope (b) from Walter P. Temple, Mrs. Joe Romero, and Maud and Tony Bassity, 1930s. The light blue card has an image of a night forest scene with snow, a creek, and darkened trees with a partially-disguised moon at the top. At the bottom left is the title "Moonlite Shadows." When opened, there is message preprinted on the right panel, and below, in Walter Temple's hand, is the ink inscription "Mrs. Joe Romero / Maud and Tony / Walter P. Temple." The envelope is also light blue and has a black, red, and gold patterned lining. It is addressed, also in Walter Temple's hand, to "Mr. E[ugene] R. Plummer" and gives an address. The card has an imprint from the envelope lining on its back panel and the envelope has some surface soiling, creases, and dented corners, but the overall condition is good.Lexicon
