CHRISTMAS CARD OF RED CARRIAGE ON A SNOWY LANE
Color: Blue; Brown; Green; Red; White
A Christmas card with an image of a carriage on a snowy lane, 1930. The front has a gatefold with a red border, within which is a centered image, bordered by stylized wavy black lines and pinecones at the bottom left and right. The image is of a red carriage moving toward the distance on a snow-covered lane. In the foreground is a woman in a red coat carrying packages and a wreath in her arms. To her left is a woman with a wreath on her left arm with a dog on a leash near her, while a boy pulls a small fir tree along the ground. Several large trees are near the persons and a house is at the background left. To the right of the gate fold is a preprinted message that looks handwritten. Inside the gatefold at the bottom center is an inscription in blue ink with a Christmas greeting to "Millie" from "Johnnie F." The card is on a textured yellow paper and has a matching envelope, which is item .2. Aside from ink stains from the inner greeting and slight ink stains on the back, the card is in good condition.
