A Christmas card with a carriage leaving a house scene, 1929. The card, which is on a textured paper opens at the right side, features an image of a red carriage, loaded with persons, being driven by a white and a brown horse away from a snow-covered house. There is a brown wood fence, some trees, and a gold sky with white snowflakes. Two small children on a sled and a dog are following the carriage. At the lower right is the greeting "Christmas / Greetings." On the inside right is a poetic greeting, under which to the left is the ink inscription "12/25/1929" and at right is "Best Wishes / Sis/ Myrtle." The accompanying envelope is item .2. Aside from a stain on the upper right of the reverse and light indications of discoloration or foxing, the card is in good condition.
