Color: Blue; Brown; Red; White; Yellow
A Christmas card with an image of a red horse-drawn carriage, loaded with persons approaching a yellow house, 1929. Aside from the carriage and house, there is a dark blue sky with a yellow moon, the lower part of a brown tree trunk and a greenish hue to the white snow. At the lower center, just below the image is the greeting: "May your Christmas day dawn with joy / close with cheer, and be only the / beginning of happy days to come." Being a two-sided card, the reverse is the space for a message, but the only message is written in ink at the center: "From Aunt Emily / and all." The card came with the mailing envelope, which is item .2 With little indication of wear or damage, aside from some light foxing at the upper edge of the reverse, the card is in good condition.
