Description

Photograph, Reproduction: A black and white reproduction photograph of a Christmas dinner menu from 1928. Shown is a page from a magazine with text from an article on Christmas foods on the edges of the photograph and a box at center giving a time plan for the preparation of Christmas dinner, including the menu, time-line for various preparations for dinner and a Christmas morning time plan, as well. At upper left of the box is an image of a woman at a desk and at bottom right an image of a group admiring a dining table setting. The image came from an article called "The Christmas Dinner" by Floris Culver Thompson on page 45 of the December 1928 issue of Pictorial Review. The author's name is at the top of the photograph, which is a lighter exposed and slightly differently set image from 97.2.15. The photograph is in mint condition. There is a pencil marking on the back upper right corner that appears to be an "S." Number-Units: 1
