Description

"Christmas Throughout Christendom," from Harper's New Monthly Magazine, Volume XLVI, No. 272, 1873. The 16-page item discusses the pagan origins of the holiday through recent times and is illustrated with several drawings, including ones of Thor, Odin, St. Nicholas, a Christmas tree, a mistletoe scene, and others. As disbound, the pages are loose and there is foxing, light soiling and some creases, but the condition is overall good.
