"Christmas-Tide, and its Customs," Rev. T. B. Murray, (New York: General Protestant Episcopal S. School Union and Church Book Society,) 1861. The book describes the history of the holiday, including celebrations and customs, such as the Yule log, Christmas feasts, carols, the use of evergreen and mistletoe, presents and other aspects, and has some illustrations, as well. With substantial wear to the marbled boards and leather spine, though the binding is still tight, and soiling and some stains to pages, the overall condition is fair.Lexicon
