CHURCH INTERIOR, MISSION SAN GABRIELEntry/Object ID
2004.6.3.3Description
Color: Black; White
A photograph of the interior of the old church at the Mission San Gabriel, 1900. The view is from a pew at the rear of the building and, though the interior is dark, such features as entrance doors at the north and south walls, a chandelier, part of the altar, framed items on the wall, church pews, a fenced area at the left, and the forms of a few persons, are notable. At the center of the back is the penciled number "60" with the number "6" at the upper right corner. With minor corner rubbing; residue on the back, possibly from a scrapbook on the reverse; corner creases; surface soiling; yellowing; warping; and light stains on front and back, the overall condition is good.
