Color: Gold
A City of Industry issued United States bicentennial coin, 1976. The metal, silver-dollar sized, coin has the city name at the top; an image of a three-person fife and drum corps next to the colonial flag; the words "THE SPIRIT OF '76" under the corps; and, at the bottom, the wording: "1776 BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION 1976." On the reverse, the words "AMERICA AMERICA GOD SHED HIS GRACE ON THEE" extend around the edge while the American Eagle and the Liberty Bell at center. The coin came in a black, blue-velvet lined presentation box (items 3.1 and 3.2) and, with tarnish on both sides, is in good condition.
