Description

A view of the City of Los Angeles Wholesale Fish Market and surrounding area, believed to be at Terminal Island at the Port of Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The view is taken from an elevated position looking at the two-story market at the left along a watercourse. Surrounding the facility are other structures, automobiles, railroad tracks and flatbed and other cars, sailing vessels, and what appeat to be port facilities. On the reverse is a pencil inscription: "LA Fish Market." With stains, soiling, the upper right corner torn, and other wear slightly affecting the image, the condition is fair.
