Description
CLASP PIN FOR HERBERT HOOVER'S PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDACY, 1928-1932
Color: Blue; Silver
A clasp pin promoting the candidacy of Herbert Hoover for President, 1928 or 1932. The pin has a blue-colored front plate with the last name of the candidate stamped into the metal in silver capital block letters. The border is silver, as well. On the outer face of the clasp are two stamps for unions which manufactured the pin, while the words "GREEN DUCK CHICAGO" are at the edge. This face is rather scratched, so details of these very small stamped inscriptions are hard to read. There is a fair amount of scratching, including some of the blue paint, but, overall, the artifact is in good condition.
