A clipping with no date and no newspaper name, possibly from Phoenix, Arizona. The clipping gives some information of a former Rough Rider, Mr. Forest B. Payne. Payne fought during the Spanish-American War as an enlisted member of the B troop then transfered to the C troop. He was about 26 years upon his death due to complications of tuberculosis. He contracted the disease during the war in camp. There is fading to the print, a deep crease, slightly brittle and moderately discolored. It is in fair condition.
