Description
CLOSE-UP OF A BASKET OF FLOWERS IN EAST WINDOW, LCN BREAKFAST ROOM
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of a close-up from the La Casa Nueva Breakfast Room east window, south side, showing a hanging planter of flowers, ca. 1980. The upper two-thirds of the window is in the image and the focus is on the planter, which appears suspended from three cords from the top. The planter is in a vase shape with classic-like decorative elements. Roses spill out of the planter and drape the sides of it. At the bottom of the planter is a tassel. Along the top of the window is a garland of flowers with sides that drape down the window's sides (the right longer than the left), while the main part of the garland is in a swag along the top. Though fuzzily seen, some landscaping in the yard is behind the window. In good condition, the artifact shows little indication of wear or damage.
