A closeup of an airplane, M. F. Weaver, Los Angeles, ca. 1920. The biplane is parked in a dirt area near a low wooden building, some bystanders and vehicles on the left, and amist some trees, but the location is unidentified. There is a logo partially visible on the rear of the fuselage that partially reads "Air Service. . ." Because one of the bystanders is in uniform and there is a militar-like star on the underside of the lower wing, the plane may be for military or police purposes. The photographer's stamp is on the reverse. With severe vertical creases, some edge tears, and soiling and stains, the condition is fair.Lexicon
