Description

Color: Black; Blue; Pink; White "Color Furniture in the Home," issued by the Heywood-Wakefield Company, 1927. The 31-page booklet has a paper cover with a pink, white, and blue illustration on the center of the front of a cottage surrounded by many trees and other homes in the distance. At the front of the building is a stone walkway and to the left is a picket fence. The title is across the top in pink and white. The name of the manufacturer is on the center of the back in blue and pink. At the beginning of the inside are a title page and an introduction. The artifact includes many sections on furnishing the home with titles like "Overcoming the Small Room," "Planning the Sun Room," "Where to Place Color Furniture," and many more. Also included are diagrams illustrating furniture placement. Many black and white photographs, illustrations, and line-drawings are included. At the end is a note about the company and a list of their products. With some abrasions, creases, and some soiling, the object is in good condition overall.
