Description

COLOR PHOTOGRAVURE OF A HOME IN TROY, MINNESOTA Color: Green; White A photogravure of a house, featuring Weatherbest Stained Shingle Company, Inc. products, from a set issued in the 1920s. The artifact, which was housed with others in a cover that is item 2.1, features an image of the Troy, New York house, which is a Cape Cod-style dwelling, featuring wood siding; shuttered windows; a projecting dormer-like section from the steeply-pitched roof and a one-story projecting room at the left. Both the roof and the siding consist of materials from the Weatherbest line. A large grass lawn, some small bushes and shrubs and large, mature trees in the front, left and background surround the house. At the left in a blue field with a white border is a description of the house including the Weatherbest items used. On the reverse within a rectangular-shaped blue field is a floor plan of the two-story house. Aside from some very light edge wear, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
