Colorado Street Bridge, Pasadena, California, Keystone Photo Service, 21 February 1923. The view is taken from the west side of the Arroyo Seco and shows the curved bridge extending eastward into Pasadena. Portions of houses are visible in the distance with lush landscaping, a section of the arroyo is at the right, and portions of hillside adjacent to the street are at the left. On the reverse are many inscriptions, including one that notes the bridge was then the longest and highest cement bridge in the world. There are also several stamps from the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and from Keystone Photo Service. With missing sections at the left corners, several tears repaired with tape, smaller edge tears, creases, and other wear, the condition is poor to fair.Lexicon
