Description
Construction of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles (BIOLA) from a nearby building, early 1920s. The view takes in some of the steel framing with two cranes and a large tower behind a partially finished facade. Portions of other buildings adjacent to the site and the roof of a smaller structure in front of the photographer are also in view. At the bottom right is a caption "Bible Institute. Los Angeles / Security Const Co." An attempt had been made to remove the photo from album paper, but it was abandoned. With some soiling and creases, the overall condition is good.
