Description

CONSTRUCTION SITE, SANTA CLARA UNIVERSITY, CA. 1926 Color: Black; White A negative of a construction site at Santa Clara University, where Thomas Temple attended college, ca. 1926. The image is taken from a nearby building's upper floor and shows wooden walls at the site with about twenty persons leaning over the fence and peering into the site. Two men are walking at the lower left and a priest, in his vestments, walks at the center. It is not possible to discern what kind of structure is being erected. Aside from non-intrusive edge darkening, there is little sign of wear or damage and the object is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
