CONTRACT FOR LEASE OF TEMPLE HOUSE FOR WINERY, 1893.
Contract, Reproduction: A photostatic copy of a 10 September 1893 contract between Walter and Charles Temple and Giovanni Piuma for the lease of the basement in "the old house" on the Temple Homestead at Rancho La Puente for the operation of a winery. Set for one year at $35.00 with two gallons of white wine per month. Signed by the parties and witness Steffano Beluffo. A second page showing the reverse side of the agreement indicates the document as the Piuma lease. The document is in good condition with a stain from paper clip rust on the main page. From the Thomas Temple Collection, donated by Ruth Ann Michaelis. None.
