A copy of a claim and delivery document from case 59600 before the Los Angeles Superior Court, 1915. The typed document in the civil suit between A. K. Moropoulos, John H. Temple, and W. W. Jenkins, plaintiffs, and Edmund Burke, defendant staes that papers concerning Alcatraz Island were valued at $10,000 and separate damages of $5,000 were sought. The defendant did not appear for trial and a judgment entered for the plaintiffs for the amount asked on 19 January 1911. Mention of the subsititution of attorneys in the case follows and the concluding section concerns a writ of possession for the recovery of the judgment, but that property could not be found to complete the writ and this latter ended the document references with the date 7 July 1915. With much creasing, quarter folds, and page browning, the overall condition is fair.Lexicon
