Description

Color: Brown; White "Cork Tile Floors," issued by the David E. Kennedy Co., 1918. The 40-page booklet has a brown paper cover with a tan and brown checkered pattern. At the center in white is the title. Below this is a stamp for H. C. McNeil & Son. At the beginning of the inside is a title page. There are many articles which provide information about the product including the importance of floors in a room; the durability of cork and its manufacture; merits; sanitation; transportation; surface advantages; affordability; colors and designs; and specifications. At the back is an index. There are many sepia photographs included which show many rooms equipped with the flooring. With light pencil marks and a small crease on a corner, the object is in good condition.
