Description
"County Court House & Hall of Records, Los Angeles, Calif.", 1920s. The view, from the corner of Temple and New High [now Broadway] streets, shows the courthouse at the right and the taller Hall of Records structure at the left. At the far left is the tower of the "Los Angeles Times" building. Many cars are parked along the street and there are a few pedestrians. The image was cut in half and pasted onto this board, with some use of pen to fill in gaps along the cut, such as in one of the cars. There is likely a Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce stamp on the back, given the style of the caption. Because of its reconstituted condition, the condition is fair.
