The work is a general one about the Craftsman style of architecture with two essays followed by many examples of Craftsman homes, including landscape, furniture, metal work, wall treatment, and other details as well as general features on representative homes. At the end is an essay on "The Craftsman Idea." There are many plates, some color, and plans as illustrations.
