Color: Black; White
A photograph of the Creede residence, Los Angeles, ca. 1900. The photographer stood on the opposite side of the street and the view captures the front elevation of the three-story house, which has a tall central tower over the front entry. Many palms, cacti, grass, bushes and shrubs, and other landscaping, as well as a fountain and some wicker furniture, are notable around and in front of the house. There is also a low wall of concrete and decorative ironwork between pilasters at the sidewalk's edge. At the bottom right is the caption "260. Creede Residence, Los Angeles, Cal." The photo was glued onto a black photo album page and the top corners cut at angles for an artistic effect. With creases, some image fading, a small loss at the bottom left corner, and stains on the album page on the back, the overall condition is good.
