A tile with a frog design, from the Critters series produced by RTK Studios, ca. 1990s. Made in the black-line technique, the piece has a border in a dark brown color, while the background of the panel, which has rounded corners, within is in a lighter brown, though there are variant shadings in the background. Crossing horizontally across the panel is a branch and leaves with the former brown and latter a combination of brown on the edges and an olive green in the middle. A frog is perched to the left of center on the branch and has three shades of green on the body, while the eye is yellow with a black center. At the upper left is what may be a branch projecting from the plant, though in a different shade of brown than the rest of the plant's branch. At upper right is a small butterfly with a dark colored body and yellow wings. This tile is a replacement of one dropped in transport from the Pio Pico Gallery to storage and transferred to the hands-on collection and is in mint condition.Lexicon
