CRITTERS LIZARD TILEEntry/Object ID
99.35.3.1Description
Color: Brown
A square tile of a lizard in the Critters series, produced by RTK Studios, ca. 1990s. The piece, created by the black-line technique, has a border in a dark brown color with a lighter brown forming the background in the panel inside. Creating a circular pattern within this panel are the branches and leaves of a plant, also in dark brown with hints of blue or purple in the edging. Placed within the circle in a curvature that resembles the Chinese yin/yang circle is a lizard in a brown that is intermediate in shading between the border and plant and the background. The head is at the upper left with the four legs outstretched and the tail primarily at the lower right. With little indication of wear or damage, the artifact is in good condition.Lexicon
