"Dad's Market at 721 E. Third St., L.A.," ca. 1900s. The cabinet card photograph shows the interior of a meat market and butcher shop. Three men with aprons are standing behind or next to a long counter and preparation area for the butchering of meat. At the right near a glass display case are three men in dark three-piece suits and ties. Cured meats and other items hang from the ceiling or racks at the back wall. The location was just east of Alameda Street. The photo is clear and the matte has edge rubbing and some soiling, so the condition is good overall.
