Description
Daily journal for the caretakers of the Los Angeles County Courthouse for the year 1892. The item has folio-sized pages with the day of the week and date printed on them. Entries by the caretakers primarily relate arrival and departure times for them and employees of the facility, as well as contractors and other visitors. For Sundays, which are not preprinted, reports were written on Board of Supervisors and other stationery and pasted in. At the rear are memoranda and cash account pages unused and there are pages removed at that area, as well. With much wear to the boards and spine, while pages are clean, the overall condition is fair.
