Description

A dance card for a grand ball at Turner Hall, Los Angeles, 27 October 1906. The event was held by a French lodge of the Foresters of America and the card has the logo, information about the event, lists of committees for the ball (all in French), and, on the inside, a list of twenty-six dances with lines next to each to fill in the name of the dance partner. The name of the orchestra is also at the bottom and a portion of the string, to which the pencil was attached, is tied around a single hole punched at the top left. With edge wear, soiling, and a few stains, the condition is fair.
