Description

Framed Photograph of a flower-covered car, presumably roses, decorated for a 1920s Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. Flowers cover the exterior of the car. There is a middle-aged man in the driver's seat and a woman in the passenger's seat. There are three people in the back seat, but only one, a young woman, is distinguishable. On the hood of the car is a sign the reads "John P. Evans, ...le Headquarters." There is also a "2" on the driver's side door. The car is at the side of the street with a sidewalk, curb, and trees in the background. The wooden frame that houses the photograph has a carved pattern that resembles a loose braid around all four sides. The edges of the frame are silver in color while the border with the pattern is dark brown. The paper on the back of the frame is tearing in many places and there is also a hanging wire on the back of the frame. A round sticker with "McKendrick Bros., Books and Stationery, Pomona, Cal." is on the back of the frame. Number-Units: 1
