"Decorator's Data Sheet," issued by the Armstrong Cork Company's Bureau of Interior Decoration, 1929. The white paper artifact has the title across the top of the front, and below this are the instructions for using the sheet. The instructions indicate customers use the paper and mail it to the manufacturer, so it could provide color scheme suggestions for the home. A table at the center lists many rooms found in a home down the first column at the far left. The columns to the right of this are blank to write each room's floor dimensions; orientation; type of wood trim; type of linoleum preferred; color and types of furniture; rug types; and other remarks. Square boxes at the bottom left were for marking the architectural type of a home and include Spanish, English, and bungalow. Three blank lines at the bottom right were for the customer's name and address. A blue grid provided on the back was to be used for floor plan sketches. The sheet was found in the manufacturer's booklet which is item .1. With only minor dents, creases, and darkening, the object is in good condition.Lexicon
