A deed from John H. Temple to Anita Davoust Temple, 20 April 1920. The notarized document gives all of John Temple's interest in Alcatraz Island to his wife for $1. It is signed by John Temple, witnessed by Marvel Thomas and L. C. Flores and notarized and sealed by Mrs. Temple's brother-in-law, Antonio Orfila, a Los Angeles attorney. See item .14 for a carbon copy of this document. With rust stains from a paper clip at the top left, creases, quarter folds, stains at the center left and a few edge tears, the document is in fair condition.
