Color: Black; white
A black and white photograph of the emigrant wagon train stained glass window in the Master Bedroom of La Casa Nueva, ca. 1978. The image is a composite of 6 full photographs and 2 half photographs patched together with scotch tape. In it three panels are visible with the top showing the coat of arms of Mexico under Spanish rule; the middle panel showing a wagon train camped for the night; and the bottom panel showing the coat of arms of the Spanish kingdom with the symbols of Castile and Leon upon a split shield. The image was used by John Wallis Studios during the restoration of La Casa Nueva to replicate the missing leaded glass door in the master bedroom. On the reverse upper right corner written in pencil reads "Temple Mansion/Master bedroom/North glass doors/West leaf/Full scale", upper left corner written in ink reads "Covered Wagons - Left." In poor condition, the artifact has many creases; tears (one repaired with masking tape); pin holes; and there is extensive use of pressure-sensitive tape.
