DETAIL OF MISSION WALKWAY, EAST SIDE, NORTH END
Color: Brown
A color polaroid photograph of a detail at the north end of the east side of the Mission Walkway, 14 April 1977. The focus is at a point where new wood headers have been added alongside the originals or older ones as supports of the arbor. Thicker beams extend across the photo from left to right, spanning from the main wall at right to the inside of the arbor at left. Thinner headers terminate just in front of the photographer and extend down the arbor toward the background. At a few places, left of center, new temporary supports buttress some of the beams. A few new areas of growth are at the vine in the foreground, at the end of the arbor. Toward the bottom of the artifact is the pencil inscription "New Arbor headers & Stripping / With Old Above 4/14/77." In good condition, the object shows little indication of wear or damage.
