Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of a detail in the west window of Thomas' Bedroom, La Casa Nueva, ca. 1980. The focus is on a semi-oval shaped panel of stained glass depicting St. Anthony and the Christ child. The saint wears a brown monk's robe and has his tonsure, while above his head is an aura. The Christ child is swathed in loose clothing and is in the saint's arms, with his own right arm at the saint's neck. Around the child's head, too, is an aura. Around the panel is some of the leaded glass and one of the wooden crosspieces. Part of what may be a crosspiece for the screen is at the bottom. In good condition, the artifact shows little sign of wear or damage. Number-Units: 1
