Description

A real photo postcard of the Diamond walnut packing house, Puente, by H & H Photo, Pomona, ca. 1940s. The image shows the building from across a road, perhaps Valley Boulevard and there are two large signs. One nearest the photographer has information about the Diamond brand. The other, atop the structure, reads "LA PUENTE VALLEY WALNUT GROWERS ASSN." When built in the 1920s, the plant was the largest walnut packing house in the world. With soiling, mainly on the reverse, and edge wear, the condition is good.
