Description

Color: Black; White A 78-rpm recording including "Doing Things" and "Wild Cat" written and performed by Joe Venuti and Eddie Lang, issued by the Victor label, 21561-A and B (45812 and 45813), 1928. The label has a scroll-patterned border with the letters "VE" at the top, the logo of the company, showing Nipper the dog listening through a victorla's horn, the label name, the identification number, song title in English and Spanish, songwriters' names, artist, and company name and city of business. Venuti and Lang were among the famous Chicago school of jazz musicians during the 1920s. In fair condition, the item has abrasions and scratches on the record surface and label, as well as light soiling on the label.
