Description

Color: Black; Green; Red "Drapery Hardware Catalog No. 68," issued by the H. L. Judd Company, Inc., June 1, 1926. The 216-page artifact has a green hardcover with the title in black within a red shield at the top of the front. Above the title and on the spine is the name of the manufacturer. At the beginning of the inside are a title page; a listing of the manufacturer's factories and salesmen; a brief history of the company; a listing of terms; and an index. Goods listed include a wide variety of ornate curtain fixtures and hardware; stamped brass cornices; oil cloth and linoleum binding; matting; stair plates and corners; carpeting equipment; tools; upholstery equipment; equipment for hanging framed images; window hardware; flag poles; door hardware; casters; bathroom hardware; racks and shelves; bookends; desk supplies; match holders and ashtrays; flower holders; candlesticks; cast metal figurines; mirrors; photograph frames; and more. Many black and white and some color illustrations are included. With many abrasions; dents; surface soiling; scratches on the cover fabric; and stains, the object is in poor condition.
